ALBANY PARK
diverse - urban-suburban mix - affordable
Albany Park is one of Chicago's best neighborhoods. It has a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars and parks, and it's one of the most diverse areas in the United States. With above-average public schools, an urban-suburban mix and some of the most affordable housing in Chicago, you'd be missing out on some great opportunities by not including Albany Park in your search.
DINING
Albany Park is incredibly diverse, with immigration from all over the world, so it has some of Chicago's best dining. Especially along Kedzie Ave, you can find an eclectic mix of dining options, all within easy access. Some of my favorites are Taqueria San Juanito, where you can get some of the best Mexican food in the area, Chicago Kalbi, for some delicious Korean-Japanese BBQ, and Nighthawk, a café/bar with a lovely environment.

LEISURE
There is also a great family environment in Albany Park. You can enjoy parks like Eugene Field Park, or experience or get involved in programs like the Albany Park Theater Project, where you can see original productions that celebrate the neighborhood's diversity and inclusivity.
